Primary Requirements
Admission can be determined based on any of the following criterion:
- Earn a minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Rank in the top half of your high school’s graduating class
- Earn a minimum ACT composite score of 22
- Earn a minimum SAT total score of 1120
Math Proficiency Requirements
Proficiency can be determined based on any of the following criterion:
- Earn a minimum ACT Math score of 22
- Earn a minimum SAT Math score of 27.5
- Earn a minimum score of 3 on the AP Calculus AB or BC exam
- Earn a score of 4 on the IB Calculus test
Writing Proficiency Requirements
Proficiency can be determined based on any of the following criterion:
- Earn a minimum ACT English Language Arts (ELA) score of 18
- Earn a minimum ACT Writing score of 07
- Earn a minimum SAT Writing and Language Test score of 25
- Earn a minimum score of 3 on the AP English Language or Literature exam
- Earn a minimum score of 4 on the IB Language A1 exam
College Preparatory Requirements
The Montana University System requires that you complete the following college preparatory requirements:
- Four years of English.
- Three years of Mathematics, including Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. (Students are encouraged to take a math course their senior year of high school).
- Three years of Social Studies, including Global Studies (such as World History or World Geography), American History, Government, Economics, Indian History or other third-year courses.
- Two years of Laboratory Science, including one year of Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
- Two years of Elective Courses, including any combination of Computer Science, World Language, Visual and Performing Arts, or Vocational Education.
