DECA Competition Coming to Montana Tech Campus

Montana Tech will host the state Collegiate Delta Epsilon Chi and Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) Competition on campus on Friday, February 10 in the ELC building on campus. Montana Tech is the only collegiate level Club in Montana. The club is encouraging students from Missoula and Bozeman to participate. However, currently only Montana Tech students will be competing.

The competition challenges students in a variety of categories such as business etiquette, marketing, and finance. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

he team is led by Business & Information Technology (BIT) faculty member Lance Revenaugh. Other BIT faculty members and local business professionals from the community will judge the competition.
