Montana Tech Foundation Helping to Can-COVID

06/18/2020

The Montana Tech Foundation has teamed up with Realize Hope to launch a friendly competition to Can-COVID. The competition between Montana Tech, Carroll College, and Montana Western will raise funds for the Montana Food Bank Network and students whose education was threatened by the COVID-19 outbreak.

70% of the funds raised go to the Montana Food Bank Network that supports Montana's local food banks and pantries. 30% of every dollar raised goes to emergency student aid initiatives at the school of choice. The funds raised for Montana Tech will go to the Kasperick Emergency Fund. The funds provide financial support for students that are experiencing hardship because of the disruption to their learning process. Support goes to help pay rent, purchase computers, cover lost wages to fund tuition, and basic needs lost due to the COVID pandemic.

This campaign is powered by Realize Hope, a 501(c)(3) foundation that strives to end hunger and bring hope to mental health. The competition will run from June 17 through September 17, 2020. You can donate at https://cancovid.us.
