Tammy Burke brings over 25 years of experience in higher education to Highlands College, including 12 years within the Montana University System and six years in Career and Technical Education (CTE) leadership. A passionate advocate for CTE and workforce development, Tammy champions “earn while you learn" models and work-based learning, believing deeply in their value for student success. She’s committed to fostering hands-on experiences that not only benefit students but also contribute to the growth of Butte and the broader Montana community.

Tammy, originally from a small mining town in Wyoming, holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics/Nutrition and a Master of Science in Kinesiology, both from the University of Wyoming.
