International Student Services - Montana Tech

If you have received an I-20 and have entered legally into the United States, it is imperative that you understand and follow all regulations outlined by the Department of Homeland Security. The Director of International Services acts as Montana Tech’s principal designated school official (DSO) and serves as your primary contact for questions regarding your F-1 status. In order to be legally in the United States, you must report to the principal DSO within 10 days of entering the country.

• We partner with the University of Montana for J-program visas. Find more information by navigating to their website. If you wish to come to Montana Tech with a J-1 visa, we can issue the DS-2019 once you are admitted
