Licensure
Certain programs at Montana Tech lead to a professional license that is mandatory for employment in that field. The coursework in these programs meets the educational requirements necessary for students to seek licensure in the state of Montana. However, professional licensure regulations vary from state to state. Completion of a Montana Tech degree may not meet the requisite coursework for a license in another state.
Below are the programs offered at Montana Tech that lead to professional licensure necessary for employment in that field. Montana Tech strives to compile licensure information for each program by state and updates this information in July of each year. However, because regulations may change in the interim, students who are considering employment elsewhere should check that state’s or territory’s licensure board to confirm current requirements prior to enrolling at Montana Tech.
Check the links below to review whether a program meets educational requirements for licensure or certification in a specific state. Montana Tech reviews state requirements on a continuous basis and adds states as additional determinations are made.
