Biography
Biography
Max earned B.S. degrees in mechanical and civil engineering from Montana Tech in 2022 and a M.S degree in materials science and engineering from Montana Tech in 2024. Currently, he is working on a Ph.D. in materials science at Montana Tech.
Over the course of his academic career, Max has held internships as a mechanical refrigeration engineer at Cushing Terrell and a maintenance engineer at Sibanye Stillwater. As a graduate student, he is researching the mobilization of biochar production via solar process heat generation. In 2025, he was hired as the visiting lab director for mechanical engineering.
