Montana Tech Library Now Offering Resources for Grant Seekers

The Montana Tech Library is now a member of the Foundation Center’s Cooperating Collections. Cooperating Collections are free funding information centers that provide a core collection of Foundation Center print and online publications  and access to on-line databases useful to grant seekers. Across the U.S., there are 470 cooperating collections; Tech Library is collaborating with the Montana Tech Research Office to provide access to these collections.

Montana Tech invites the community to its grand opening celebration of the Foundation Center Cooperating Collection on Tuesday, April 9 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Library. At this time, the Library will provide tours of the Foundation Center resources and an initial orientation workshop available to members of the public. Anyone looking for grant money or interested in learning more about the Cooperating Collection is invited to attend.  After the training workshop and opening ceremony, the Foundation Center’s print and online resources will be available to the public during all open library hours. Library staff will be available to assist individuals, non-profits and others looking for grant resources. Call 496-4281 or visit www.mtech.edu/library for library hours.
