Montana Tech wants the kids of Butte to be equipped for success this academic year. The campus will be hosting the first-ever Supplies for Success events on Tuesday, August 19 and Wednesday, August 27. Montana Tech Chancellor Don Blackketter and his wife Vicki will be distributing notebooks, pencils, pencil holders, erasers, folders, and rulers to children in Butte in the mall area (outside the Student Union Building) of campus.
On Tuesday, August 19, the event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
All kids are encouraged to attend. Charlie Oredigger, student-athletes, and cheerleaders will be at the event handing out ice cream and signing athletic posters and schedules.
