Yellowstone National Park's John Klaptosky Speaking at Montana Tech

The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) has approved and recognized Montana Tech's Exercise and Health Sciences Program through the NSCA Education Recognition Program (ERP) for three years. By pursuing and achieving NSCA recognition, Montana Tech's program has demonstrated it meets the requirements to prepare students for the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certifications and is committed to quality.

John Amtmann, Ed.D., Professor of Kinesiology in Montana Tech's Biological Sciences Department noted, "Many of our students go on to Physical Therapy school, Occupational Therapy school, or Physician Assistant programs. For those who don't, there are opportunities in health, fitness, wellness, and sports coaching in various sectors. Our students have become successful professionals, and being recognized by the NSCA is a nice pat on the back."

Montana Tech offers a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Health Science (EHS). EHS graduates have rewarding careers as health, safety and fitness professionals or in the medical field. The science-based curriculum emphasizes health, wellness, exercise physiology, and occupational health and safety.
