Outdoor Tech
Outdoor Tech at Montana Technological University focuses on delivering various outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, camping, indoor rock climbing, fishing, downhill and Nordic skiing, and mountain biking. We also host workshops and events to foster a sense of community among outdoor enthusiasts of all skill levels and backgrounds.

We strive to promote responsible outdoor ethics and environmental conservation. We offer educational programs on Leave No Trace principles and sustainable outdoor practices.
Outdoor Tech offers accessible staff and resources for trip planning, route selection, and logistical support as well as guidance on outdoor skills development, risk management, and emergency preparedness.

Outdoor Tech welcomes all participants of all skill levels and backgrounds. We provide beginner-friendly workshops and introductory courses to encourage participation and skill progression.
