Testing Center at Montana Tech

The Testing Center provides testing services to support the academic and professional goals of students and the community. We adhere to the Professional Standards and Guidelines set by the National College Testing Association (NCTA) so that we can provide an environment that is equitable and secure so each student has the opportunity to demonstrate their ability and obtain valid results.

Students taking placement assessments must bring their Montana Tech or high school student ID. All items must be stowed away when testing, including cell phones and smart watches. Students who need accommodations due to a disability should work with Disability Services to coordinate accessible testing environments.

• All assessments have a one-time proctor fee of $25 to be paid on test day unless otherwise discussed with the proctor.
