Dr. Beverly Hartline, Montana Tech vice chancellor of research and graduate studies, has been elected as a Member-at-Large of the Executive Committee of the American Physical Society’s Forum on Physics and Society. Dr. Hartline will serve a three-year term beginning in April 2013. The Forum addresses issues related to the interface of physics and society as a whole.
