BestColleges.com has released a list of top 50 public colleges and universities with the best return on investment to graduates. Montana Tech earned the No. 19 spot on the list.
BestColleges.com published the list of colleges to help students who are looking for the cost savings of a public school, but still want to make sure their dollars are well spent. Montana Tech was the only Montana university named to the list.
“Montana Tech continues to earn accolades for return on investment,” noted Montana Tech Chancellor Don Blackketter.“ This again verifies that Tech is one of the best options in Montana and the US for students seeking great programs, affordability and the subsequent high return on their educational investment.”
Using data collected by Payscale.com, BestColleges.com put together the list of 50 public schools that offer in-state students the highest return on their tuition dollar. “Return on Investment” or ROI rankings for each school are primarily comprised from two factors — the true cost of attending a school weighed against the median earning power of its graduates over 30 years.
