Montana Tech Environmental Engineering Student Receives Second Place at NSBE Conference

Montana Tech Environmental Engineering student Arundeep Taduri received second place for the Technical Research Exhibition at the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Region 6 Conference in Los Angeles, CA on November 17, 2017.

Arundeep presented on his graduate thesis topic, "Moss Revegetation" under advisor Dr. Grant G. Mitman. The research focuses on initiating restoration and repair of natural resources damaged by mining in Butte, Montana. This project is funded by the Natural Resource Damage Program (NRD) and Butte Natural Resource Damage Restoration Council (BNRC).
