Montana Tech Hockey Fights Cancer Jersey Auction underway, Pink the Rink game Friday

The Montana Tech Oredigger Hockey team is holding a “Pink the Rink” event to raise funds for the St. James Hospital- Intermountain Health Cancer Center on Friday.

The team faces off against the Eastern Washington University Eagles at the Butte Community Ice Center. The puck drops at 7 p.m., and admission is free. The team encourages everyone to wear pink to the game. 

The Diggers will be wearing special pink “Hockey Fights Cancer” jerseys that are up for auction all this week. All proceeds will be donated to the St. James Hospital- Intermountain Health Cancer Center.
