Residence Halls Rates
Residence Hall living is a great way to get settled on campus and make friends. We offer three co-ed residence halls with space for approximately 446 students.

Centennial Hall was constructed to serve an increasing demand for on-campus housing. It serves approximately 100 first-year students and consists of mostly suite style rooms with both double and single occupancy options.

The Living Learning Center (LLC) is Montana Tech’s newest residence hall. The LLC is designed to provide students a more independent living lifestyle while still providing open area spaces for social interactions.

Prospector Hall was the Montana School of Mines' first, dedicated residence hall. It houses just under 200 students and is the home of the Office of Housing and Residence Life.

- If you do not cancel your room by May 1, your deposit will be non-refundable, whether or not you choose to attend Montana Tech.

Room and Board Refunds
If a student cancels their enrollment and/or is approved to be released from on-campus housing and/or meal plan requirement, they may be eligible for a refund of room and board fees accordingly to the schedule below. Room and board refunds are processed based on the student's actual checkout date with a staff member from Residence Life.
